India loves its cricket, and Airtel understands this. From March 12th to the 25th, Airtel Broadband customers enjoyed speeds of 2 Mbps no matter their plan while streaming content from Youtube's IPL channel, www.youtube.com/ipl. These speeds were provided by Airtel on a best effort basis. Users were able to stream with their Airtel Broadband connections. Tariff plans stayed the same however, and data transfer limits too.
Around the same time, Airtel also upgraded some of new broadband plans. Most plans have the speeds doubled. The new 4mbps plans are now available for between Rs.899 and Rs. 1700 but with download limits between 6GB and 50 GB. The plans are named " Impatience ".
